About Dana
I am a client-centered therapist who specializes in relational trauma healing work and Complex PTSD. I have worked for 15+ years in various settings which include a community counseling clinics, schools, recovery and treatment programs and a private practice.
I welcome a broad spectrum of clients. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and influenced by Attachment Theory and my involvement with The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics.
In meeting with me you can expect a nonjudgemental presence and someone who will support you in identifying and meeting your unique goals.
My perspective on healing has been informed by my work as an educator with incarcerated adults and their families as a critical literacy program developer. I am the co-founder of Peacemakers’ Alliance, a critical literacy and non-violent communication program for prisoners in California. As such, I have a special interest in working with adults who are healing post-incarceration.
